Retin A is a medication used to treat acne. It may decrease the number and severity of acne pimples and promote quick healing of pimples that do develop. Tretinio belongs to a class of medications called retinoids. It works by affecting the growth of skin cells; it accelerates cell skin renewal and as such is also used to treat wrinkles, dry rough ageing skin, hyper pigmentation. It speeds up skin cell renewal thereby shedding the old aged skin with continued usage.
